Started in 2016, Megathon is an ambitious hackathon organised jointly by E-Cell IIIT Hyderabad and E-Cell IIT Hyderabad with the intention of promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship and development among the student community in and around Hyderabad. The first edition of Megathon turned out to be a huge success with participation from 80 teams having around 450 participants and over 1000 aspirants from 85+ colleges.
The second edition of Megathon comes with a different format where the participants shall be brainstorming on one of the 5 problem statements from the Corporate or Social category.Participants will work on their ideas based on these problem statements over a 24-hour long hackathon before the presentations begin.
